Self Portrait

Terms: Google Drawings, Vector Graphics, Group, Order, Rotate, Transparent, Balance


Place yourself (full body) in a realistic setting with lots of detail in the background that helps us learn a bit about you. Make sure the details go with the background. 

Directions

1. Log into your Google account, go to Google Drive, and click the Red "New" button. Select "more" then Google Drawings.

***To be able to color your work you must use shapes and/or the polyline or curve line tool.***

2. Draw and color your head (include eyes, nose, mouth, ears, eye brows and hair).

3. Draw and color your body and clothes (NO STICK FIGURES).

4. Draw and color a background scene that doesn't leave any empty space. The setting needs to be realistic and full of detail. Add items in the background that go with the setting that will help us learn a bit more about you.DO NOT ADD IMAGES THAT YOU DID NOT DRAW!


5. Add your name in the bottom right corner. Use the "Text Box" tool. 

6. When you think you are finished have Mr. Anter check it. If he says you are done, download it as a JPG file. Click on File > Download as > JPEG image (.jpg) and go to Canvas to turn it in. Once you are in Mr. Anter's class in Canvas, click on the Self Portrait project and click Start Assignment. Under the File Upload tab near the bottom select Choose File and navigate to your Downloads folder. Select your self portrait and Submit Assignment.
