7th/8th Grade - Advanced Digital Media Productions/Robotics

Class Description

The Advanced Digital Media Production course further develops students' understanding of occupations and educational opportunities associated with the arts, media, and entertainment fields. This program of study will explore the fields of graphic design, 3-Dimensional Design, audio and video production, and video game design and development. Through a project-based model, students will learn industry level skills that lead to a potential career in a number of digital media disciplines. For those that are interested, there will be opportunities to explore Robotics along with the option to work on “Special” projects or areas of particular technology interests.

Grading

This is a projects based class. I do not give homework or tests. I will re-grade any project after the due date with no penalty. There may not be any time to work on past projects in class so students can work on past projects at home, in the library, or in room 50 during the open lab times (most mornings before school and often at break and  lunch time).

Assignments

Below is a list of your assignments. Please start at the top and work your way down. I will be demonstrating the assignments periodically. If you feel as though you have completed an assignment to the best of your ability and I have not graded it yet, you may go on to the next assignment. You always have something you can be working on!
